I've been to 4 NCRS nationals, this will be my first Bloomington should be interesting. Their catalog has some great original cars in it.Comment

We only live about 2 1/2 hours south of St. Charles. We're planning on stopping by the swap meet to check out the deals on Thursday on the way to Milwaukee for Summerfest (a 10 day music festival). Then back all day Saturday and half day Sunday before we head back up to Milwaukee. As Roger said bring money. Also plan on spending some time out in the judging field. There are a few guys on here that will have booths set up, hopefully some will chime in so you'll know where they are at. Don't forget to try a bag of kettle corn! If anyone is still looking for a place to stay the Country Inn and Suites is located only about 1 block west of Pheasant Run and I believe they may still have rooms. The rate we got is $154 a night. We stayed at Pheasant Run a couple years back and I believe it was about $229 or maybe $249 a night. As I believe most the hotels do they also set up a hose for guys (or gals) to wash their cars off. The downtown area of St. Charles is kind of neat, it is located straight west of the golf course. Info below, ask for Katie:

I'll be there! Wouldn't miss it. Nothing like parking on the golf course in a sea of Corvettes. Hopefully the weather will be nice this year. The past few years have been marred by rain, storms, or heat.

I will be there. I have been to every Bloomington except for the very first one. I have a swap spots #H100 to H102. Stop by and say Hi.
Going to try something a little different this year. We are having our 67 judged and will still have our swap spot open, so Dian and I will busy, we have some great friends that will help hold down the swap spot. It will be fun, like every year has been for the last 35.

When exactly did Bloomington start with the corvette show or certifications? I went to ISU in Normal 1970-73 and drove my 62 to a corvette show at the fairgrounds before I sold it in late 1971. Can't wait until the end of the month. Can't bring my current 62 but will be attending the seminar on 62s.Comment

Just checked your spots, you're front and center looks like some good ones. I'll stop by on Thursday to see you. Good luck with the 67 (and with the swap meet). I saw you when you had it judged down at St. Charles. I'd say it's a piece of cake for you.
We didn't go to BG last year but did I see right that they are moving the auction inside this year?

I'm about 40-45 minutes from St. Charles so I'll be there. I've been attending since they moved it up here I believe in 2005? I'll be drivin' the 74 convertible and like Donald said, ain't nothing like parking on a golf course with hundreds of other vettes! It's a beautiful facility and course. See you there Bob R.
