Re: Wont a 54 Corvette Nomad
Roy, those are sweet! What a fun ride. I'd like to see what the interior looks like, that is the one area on these customs that sometimes is lacking... Bit pricey at 125K and up.- Top

Re: Wont a 54 Corvette Nomad
I seem to remember a limited number of these type Nomads were made many years ago. I seem to recall an article on them last year but cannot where I saw it. I believe a guy in San Diego had one that was in not good condition but he was driving it and and another one was for sale. It looked like a typical poor quality kit car that had gone bad but was very unusual and had the styling right. Ed- Top

About 23,167 Nomads were produces in '55-56-57.
The original "Waldorf Nomad" from the Motoramas was destroyed. Some think it was not a running, driving car.
There have been 5-10 reproductions in the last 25 years. Two I can think of were right on.
The problem is the proportions of the "55 Nomad body and the much smaller Corvette Body.
Wife says my car obsession is better than alcoholism by a little bit.
