C1 Crayon writing under dash pad

I just received some photos of when they restored the interior of my 58. They has a number written in crayon (grease pencil) . Is there any significance to these?
    Thanks

Mark, you ask if there is any signifence to this...well yes and no. It was the job # for that car. It does tell you at least, that that part of the car was not replaced. Bill

Mark, on my '58 the job number 96 was under the dash pad, front of the tunnel next to the center console, and on the front door pillars under the kick panels.
