Can somebody answer a question, actually two for me. First does a 1967 coupe have the number two body mounts, commonly associated with only a convertible. I know earlier c2's ( 1965,1966) did it that way, but my understanding is that in 1967 it didn't. My friend and I are butting heads at this. Secondly, my understanding is that in 1966 and earlier the frame had a hand written production date written upside down on the right frame rail with a wax crayon, just behind the number one mount, but not on the 1967 frames.

Re: c2 body mount question
67 coupe does NOT have a body mount under the door area. There is a plastic plug in the body in this area
67 frames do not have a crayon date as the date is incorporated into the part number stencil- Top

Re: c2 body mount question
Now, does anyone remember WHY there was no body mount in that location for 64-67 coupes? I posted the answer here on the board a while back.- Top
