Inspection marks on Spindles and Spindle arms?? April 66 Car

Build date: April 18th 1966

Should my spindles have the Orange marks or the white marks?
Should there be any marks on the spindle arms that link to the tie rod ends?

I don't think anyone can tell you with 100% certainty if yours did, or should, have them, but "most" of the originals that I have looked at have had some amount of paint dabs. My sept 65 built 66 was loaded with orange, yellow, green and blue paint marks. That's one reference point.

My 67 had orange marks on the spindles and white marks on the spindle arms connecting to the tie-rods

I am doing a 66 built Dec. 8 65 and the spindles had white paint on them .
The spindle arms had green paint on them .

My March 30th 1967 had some orange on the spindles. Dale
