    Silver '54-'55 ?

Was there a factory silver painted '54 or '55? With beige/tan interior? I have never seen one documented, but---.

YES and also a red on white one also along with other odd colors because it's not documented dont mean things were never done or made.

Roy, back in the very early 60's I was in Detroit and spotted a '54-'55, can't remember which, on a used car lot. I stopped and checked it out. Some of the paint was worn through with no other color, other than primer, under the silver. Inside lips (hood, trunk, deck lid) and door jambs were silver with no evidence of other colors. The interior was tan/beige, not dyed and original pattern. The dealer told me it was an original car and traded by the original owner.

Whatever the case although the car was in very good condition I thought the $900.00 asking price was way too high.

Roy, I had forgotten about this picture. That looks like the car, possibly it was that one! A shop order car? Now the $900.00 seems very cheap.

I know they made a 56 Silver one I saw it last Saturday in Virginia Beach VA. It also has Beige interior.
