C2 Headliner and Carpet questions

1. Does anyone have any helpful hints (or can point me in the direction of a reference) regarding installation of a 1967 coupe headliner?
2. Which is best for carpet underlayment material, Jute or Rubberized mat-like material specific for our cars? Thanks, Brawley

The headliner is premolded with a vinyl covering. Piece of cake to install, remove moldings etc and the old drops out. Just reverse procedure for installation.

Correct carpet underlayment (diecut) is available from LIC. Its a jute glued to a black heavy backing (cardboard-like).

Carpet is also available with correct edges etc. from Al Knoch Rear carpet piece with "ears" will not have edge binding on the "ear" edge. See photos.
