Got Door Sills Reconditioned by King of Trim

Recently bought a pair of gently scuffed up original door sill plates. Cleaned off the paint and shipped them off to King of Trim in North Hollywood, CA (818-326-6924) to have them buffed out and re-anodized. Got them back, painted the center ribs and bam - almost like new original door sills for a fraction of the cost (a NOS set sold for over $500 on ebay this past week). Little over $125.00 with shipping total for a pair of sills. They came out great!

Do you have pictures of what they looked like before?

My originals are pretty banged up but and I am wondering how mine will look when they come back.

    Thanks,

Stupid me, no, I don't. They had some pretty good scratches all over from shoe scuffs, no major tears into the metal though. Some of the more major cuts are faintly visible, but only if you carefully look in just the right light. They did a nice job.

Ok thanks. I am going to go for it. The price is not too high.

          Thanks

They specialize in all kinds of trim pieces. See website, just google name and they are in North Hollywood. My guess is yes.
