HELP! I need somebody - HELP!

Looking for someone to share info from a '71 AIM. My early '72 has only the "FASTEN SEAT BELT" light (no interlock/buzzer). The AIM shows all engineering changes, therefore, my '72 AIM doesn't show what was used before the silk visor label on my August 1971 built car. I believe prior to the 9-24-71 eng change that added the silk label, there was a paper sleeve, maybe two. I've seen '69s and '70s that have a paper sleeve for starting with the "new locking column" and another sleeve with seat belt instructions.

Can someone with a '71 AIM please look at UPC 0 / sheet 15 and let me know what labels/sleeves are called out and where they go?

    Don,

No UPC 0 Sheet 15 in my 71 book.

Sheet B-1 called "labels and stickers" shows nothing going onto the visor.

I don't think there was anything on the visor before sometime in December 1971. (The date on the label is 11-23-71.)

Don this is a good example of NOT being able to rely on the repro AIM's as "the bible". They DO NOT have ALL of the engineering changes as they were reproduced from a WORKING set. The plants had working sets and were required to discard the "old" sheets when they received a new one. The repros that we have available are from one of those working manuals and are far from complete.

Thanks all. I suppose the elimination of the sleeve(s) I've seen on earlier C3's was part of the same austerity reductions (vs embarrasment for drop in rated HP?) that took the decal off the air filter lid in '72. I'll go with no label/no sleeve.
