Tony -- what's up with this small block stuff ? Did the L78 whet your '65 appetite ?

In addition to any pics others may send, do visit Noland's Vol 2, as there is good discussion with GM drawings and some pics. Best to follow the evolution from 1963 (pages 164-7); 1964 (page 240) and 1965 (pages 302-3).

Hey Wayne. Nice hearing from you. My L78 car is doing fine. I'm working on a yellow '65 L79 roadster project right now. I'm showing my 12 year old son Sam how to turn a wrench. I figure it'll be done by his prom!

Tony --- just came across an excellent RESTORER article by John Amgwert in Spring issue, 1986. Three and a half pages on the C2 distrib. shield variations alone, w/pic's and annotated sketches.

Hey Greg. That would be great. I'll bring the candidate top shield with me too. We can try and figure out if its the correct one for a '65 s/b carb car.
