I have a 1972 and the temp guage needs to be replaced. It's been suggested that I get a repo but I am not sure how well one would hold up to judging standards. Any results/experiences? The repos I have seen on the internet look pretty good to me. Should I look around for a good used one? Any advice? Thanks for your help.

Re: Need Temp Gauge Advice
Stan, I have read articles on the repro gages, there are some differences on the way the face of the gage is secured, they are not in same position north/south -factory and east/west- repro ,and sometimes are secured with screws.other wise they look alike, but judges will notice a repo gage.
