'66 half shafts

Just picked up my half shafts with new u-joints installed. Are there any paint markings on them like the drive shaft? If so, any photos to help me out. It's a 66 small block with 4-speed and posi.

Going to get the shafts installed this weekend and see if it solved the noise I had. One u-joint was toast!

Nope - only the big-block half-shafts had paint markings.

A dab of lime green paint (more like a partially circumferential band, on the limited number of unrestored BB shafts that I've seen). But even more pronounced is the shot peened surface treatment on the tube, circumferential welds and yokes, to reduce stress points.
