    Radiator 68 427/435 Question

    NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE/EXPERTISE HELP
    HAVE RESTORED MY EARLY 68 AND HAVE A QUESTION ON DETERMINE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT RADIATOR FOR MY CAR
    THIS IS THE ONE THAT WAS IN THE CAR WHEN I BOUGHT IT
    MEASUREMENTS ON THE CORE IS 22.5 x 17
    IT HAS ONE TAG THAT SAYS AM 66 1
    I HAVE POSTED SOME THUMB.JPG AT THE BOTTOM
    BUT I CAN SEND FULL PICTURES FOR BETTER VIEWING

    On my orignal early 68 #9643, there was only the metal tag clipped to the passanger side which read MK. My 400 and your 435 should have the same radiator according to TIMJG. I saw no date stamping.

      I believe the core measurements should be 26.5" or 27.5" on center. Do not have manual here to confirm.

        It is not the correct radiator for a 68. In the pictures you show and end tank that has a curved inlet. It should have an inlet pipe that comes straight out and then turns 90 degree with be a mitered connection with a second pipe. Dewitt's website shows some excellent pictures of what it should look like. Check it out
