    Parking brake cable bracket modification

Im hip deep in renovating a 69 454 barn find. Its got moderate wheel flairs and 17in tires. Looks like the back parking brake brackets were beat in to accomidate the larger tires. Can this be moved to the top of the frame?

    Bob -

Normally, for way-wider wheels/tires, the parking brake cable brackets are removed from the side and re-welded to the top surface of the trailing arms (not the frame).
