Cleaned her up today for a trip next week:

But the bad news is, is that my '66 Samsonite luggage has bit the dust.

With me through my Navy days, in 1969 it carried almost everything I owned in moving to a job in California from New York after I got discharged. It sat on the luggage rack as above, but I also had a few other things sitting in the back along with the folded convertible top. I guess I was a hippy in those days, but what hippy had a 67 Corvette
Actually, the gorillas didn't do in my '66 Samsonite. my wife did. For my last birthday, my wife got me a 2009 Samsonite in the closest color to Marina Blue that you will ever find. So the '66 Samsonite is now relegated to the basement. Here's the new one:

With the new one, I don't even have to unload the rack to get some gas.
See you guys in Tahoe next week and on the Eastern Road tour (from Barstow) in July.
John Seeley, give us a report, are you going to be in Tahoe next week with new trailing arms.
Just having fun
