I've been contacted once by someone doing research on my year model and that is it.

Exchange of info is a large part of the enjoyment of this hobby. The registry allows me to do this in a small way. Also it can provide an interestng chain of ownership.
    I agree!!
No one has attempted to break into our garage or use any info on the C2 registry to steal, defraud or use posted information in any negative way. VIN's have been in plain view on the windshield for how many years? Better not leave the car outside where someone might see your VIN!! Lock it up and not let it see daylight. Better yet, don't get it judged.
Lighten up folks, people are not lurking outside your home to steal your Corvette. Do Corvettes get stolen? Yes, but how often and how many times from a secure, locked garage.
