    62 heat riser

Does anyone have a good close-up picture of one out of the car? Looking at it from under the car, it appears the little spring on the outside is loose. This is for a 250hp-327..John

    John,

Here are some pictures of the heat riser for my '61, 283. I will let others determine if it is the correct one.

The weight is stamped GM and the number, which I believe is the casting number, 6844.

I haven't put the valve back in yet after replacing both springs. The springs in the photo are not original to this heat riser.

    Regards,

    Dennis
