Has anyone ever seen the 1956 AIM, before the 1957 changes were put in? There are a a lot of things in the 1956-57 AIM that are not correct for 1956 cars. Just wondering if the 1956 AIM is in existance anywhere

Re: 1956 Aim
Ed, was told along time ago that John Amgwert had one. Change that confuses '56 restorers is the power top ground wire location. Most follow the '57 AIM change and don't see the canceled date was at year model change. Gary....NCRS Texas Chapter

Re: 1956 Aim
Ed, the AIM copyright 1977 is the current one. Russ Uzes bought an earlier version a year or so back off of e-bay and scanned it in. Was going to send you his website link, but it's gone. This's the last e-mail address I had for Russ rduzes@mac.com sorry don't have a phone no. Gary....NCRS Texas Chapter

Some of the sheets in Russ' version were redrawn in July of 57. The info prior to that is lost (unless I can find an earlier AIM).
Thanks Gary.- Top
