Re: Ipod or MP3 Player?
Thanks guys.
First, I didn't realize that an ipod is an mp3 player but after what was said here and some googling I see where they are the same but different.
My first choice was in fact for an ipod but then I was under the impression that you could only get the songs from itunes and when I searched for some on their site, I couldn't find them. I also need an FM transmitter because the radio in my 69 doesn't have an aux jack!
Plus then I can use it in any car with an FM radio. But from what some of you are saying it sounds like you can somehow get songs from places other than itunes for an ipod.....is that correct? I don't really like the idea of buying hardware that uses proprietary software like the ipod but it sounds like it's the way to go.
I'm also thinking of getting a gps so maybe I should look at an itouch because I think they have a gps in them as well. OR, a gps like a tomtom 720 that has an mp3 player and FM transmitter in it....
So confused.......
