67 under hood black out

I searched the archives under black out ( 250 pages returned) at least the first 50 pages and did not see anything that would help. What color and brand of black out paint matches the original under hood black out? I need to paint my hood hinges. When I cleaned the over spray from my repaint years ago, I just used paint stripper. Guess no one has ever tried to match the blackout. How about what color and brand did you use to blackout the underside of your C-2 hood? Thank you Dale

Dale, I used the Krylon 1613 before the formula change, if I was blacking out today I'd use the SEM blackout. JMHO

I did my underhood about 5 years ago and I think I used the Eastwood paint. Of course I suffer from CRS, so don't quote me!!

I've seen posts here that mentioned John Deere Blitz black for underhood but I've never used it so I don't know how accurate it is.

Thank you to all, I am trying to match the original under hood black out after cleaning the overspray off of hood hinges in the 1980's. Now I have lots of different brands names to check for matching. Dale
