'65 thermostat housing and fuel pump date???

Looking on Ebay i find some thermostat housing with # 3827369 on top, this is the correct number but it has also a GM cast on top. In the judging manual i can't find any notice of a GM logo cast on. Does anyone have a pic. of a correct housing??
The same with the fuel pump. The numbers that are staped on are 4657.
does it also have a building date code and if they have, which place must this date staped/cast on??

    Thanks!

Fuel pumps were only 'wacked' with the PN suffix code (e.g. 4657), sometimes followed by alpha characters which are believed to point to a specific assy site.

The main pump housing IS dated, but it's virtually impossible to see! You have to look down the 'blind' hole (the one not drilled/tapped) for inlet/outlet lines to see/read the casting date.

For the thermostat housing, the 3827369 was used on base and L75, as well as the 396. Was also used in '66 on L79; maybe even later or on other engines.

All originals I've seen had "GM"; the part # (2nd line); and a mould # debossed (sunk ?) casting of "B2" or "B3" [third line]. A pic is in Noland's Vol 2, page 283.

I have a GM replacement and it has just the "GM"; nothing else except the casting tit.
