I just installed the replacement header bar (headlamp re-enforcement bar) on the weekend. I used the SEM 39747 product, mostly because I could not find Fuzor locally but I'm quite happy with the results - although time will tell of longevity.
It's easy to work with. Stays workable as advertised for 90 minutes. It does not require the metal or SMC to be epoxy painted in advance as Fuzor does and it's about 1/2 the price. It is black however so it does not match the original adhesive if that's important to you.
The local shop loaned out the gun (with deposit).
Once prep'd and glued in place I used the headlight assemblies to gently clamp the bar down and set basic alignment so the bar was correctly positioned, then placed 20 kg bags on the far end to clamp down the extreme edges without too much force.
In cooler weather it definitly takes at least 24 hours to fully harden.
As it turns out there is a location nearby that sells Fuzor but I found it to late. If anyone needs leads for this type of material in GTA just ask.
Cheers,
Michael B.
