67 fire wall part number

on a late A.O. smith car should there be a raised part number on the passenger side. at a local chapter meet a very well known person told me that was a replaced. looking at the car there is no evidence of repair to that section

I don't understand what the judge said, is there suppose to be a part number or not? Here is a photo of my St.Louis body with a part number on the firewall.

St. Louis and A.O. Smith bodies are no different in that respect - both plants used firewalls from the same supplier (A.O. Smith didn't manufacture firewalls), and the part number was molded into the panel.
