    c-1 lug wrench clip 1958

Hi, when I went to install the lug wrench I noticed that the clip has two holes and my trunk does not have a matching set of holes. Is it possible that only the one hole was used (closest to the wrench) allowing the clip to move and find centre to the wrench? Does anyone have a similar situation? There is not a good picture of it in any of my reference books. Also does the trunk mat have holes through it to allow for the clips to sit on top of the mat. My mat covers the entire truck area. It looks like in my Nolan Adams book that the wrench and jack handle's and their clips sit on top of the mat ........Thanks Susan

No, under the mat. On my way to a Swap Meet, so I'll check later but maybe The PHDof Jacks on the line never drilled the second hole. but you'd better do it - what shows up underneath?

No sign of a repair underneath. Thanks for your help, Susan

        Susan,

Maybe a picture would help. The clip screws to the floor of the trunk and the wrench lays on top of the mat.

          Hi Susan:

Here are the holes in my '59. Same wrench and clip as a '58.
