Title History?

Hello, I have a 1967 Corvette purchased from Proteam in 2000. The car did not come with any documentation or the Tank Sticker. I recently went through the AL Grenning affirmation service and the car is a Black 1967 427/390hp coupe. My question is, how can I find out the owner history or the original dealership it was purchased from???

title search, owner history , It's lots of work, but worth it

Start a backward search. Who did pro-team buy it from and see if that person knows. Who did he buy it from and so it goes. It may take a long time and you have to be lucky!

Unfortunately with the privacy laws it has become much harder. Most states will not share information, but give it a try. Over the years there has been some Restorer articles on this subject. Good luck, Don H.
