'64 Frt. Susp. ID & Inspection Paint Markings

    Hello,
Can anyone tell me what paint stripes and daubs were used (if any) on the 1964 frt. susp. components? In particular, the upper and lower A-arms and spindles. I purchased an NOS lower arm shaft recently that had an orange and white stripe around it. Was this used only by Service, or was this a factory build marking? My spindles appear to have a hint of an orange paint daub on them. Is this factory correct? What other markings, if any, were factory correct on these components (colors, locations and sizes)?
    Thanks.

Remember Jeff the whole front suspension was painted black by vendors and as they were assembled essentially covering all 'paint dabs' under the el cheapo tar based black paint. Only the ball joints and bolts to attach the assemblies to the frame would still be unpainted.

Drove the 64 over 5000 miles to three Regionals and the San Jose National, one dust storm and 40 lbs of bugs!
