    Thanks for the source education!

    I note CC calls that same part "Ignition Lock Cylinder Face" in their 1963-67 catalog dropping the reference to lock tumblers/wafers. Perhaps, the later is a bit clearer, but it's still nice to know there's a source for just this portion of the lock cylinder!

      Jack, I got a reply from Corvette Central on the same question I asked this group. They said you have to remove the tumbler face as I did. They sell a new part but don't know how you can crimp it to the lock. Glue is probably in order. Later Corvettes(1963 to 1967) use a different face that is flat and can be pried loose from the lock as it can be bent. After looking at the options, I think I will just purchase a new ignition lock which has the tumbler face already attached and transfer the tumblers from my old lock to the new one. Some times it is not worth it to try to save an original part.
