How to correctly repair Vent Windows??

Both Vent Windows on the 66 Coupe that i purchased are broken. The little tab that welds to the vent frame itself and then attaches to another piece that is part of the track assembly are both broken. I Purchased new swivel pieces, but i have no idea how to attach them to the frame. Somebody already attempted to weld one in place with mig welder and i think that frame is probably going to need to go into the trash. Do they solder into place? Should i take them to a jeweler?

Those pivots are welded to the frame. Paragon performs this service and does a very good job. Contact them 1 800 882-4688 and ask for instructions on shipping your vent windows to them for repair.
