    need chassis paint help

I have a 66 frame that was powdercoated by the former owner. The coating is really thick and the coverage is very good, but the paint has faded from sitting out in the sun-it has a white haze to it. I would like to simply put a skim coat on top of the frame, but i am not sure what is correct.
Is the eastwood satin black chassis paint a good choice? What about the quanta asphalt based paint-is it correct or not??

Also, the differential, halfshafts, drivshaft, and a few other parts that should be bare cast iron were coated with the same thick black paint and i would like to know which type of spray paint to purchase-im assuming its por 15 and my guess is that it will be near iimpossible to remove.
Is Eastwood spray gray a good choice??
I hate spray painting parts, but i really dont have much of a choice.
    Thanks

If this/that part is supposed to be 'natural', I wouldn't kid yourself thinking you can duplicate the correct finish with another form of paint. Most judges know what a real McCoy natural item looks like and spot artificial surface coatings quickly.

Bottom line, if the part's supposed to be natural and there's a detectable coating on it, expect to lose 20% of the available originality points for a Finish deviation regardless of whether the color of the artificial coating mimics 'natural' in shade or not...

Well then, that would mean my entire chassis would be deducted of points. I guess its off to the dipping yard for the cast chassis components so that the por-15 pait can be removed.

Any help on the chassis paint?

The entire frame and numbers only carry 15 originality points, so a "finish" deduction would be about two points.
