Well, after trying to just reach my hand up behind the cluster to change the headlight warning light on my '66 for several hours last weekend (including plenty of choice expletives of the four letter variety) and in all in a contorted position that even a zen yoga master couldn't handle . . . I gave up.
This weekend, I used John Hinckley's long bolt method (without pulling the steering column) to pull the cluster out a couple of inches and was able to get my hand up there to change the bulb. Still not real easy, but I got it. And now . . . Let there be light!
Alright, the question - I know that the JG states that the headlight warning light should blink and so should the brake warning light. But, I was reading through the owner's manuel (while doing this project) which stated that the headlight warning light blinks. It didn't state that the brake warning light should blink. Is that just a typo, or should the brake warning light stay on without blinking?
Thanks
