Was playing with Google Maps and figured I'd look up my house in Sonora, CA. Guess who's 67 that is, and inside my Corvette garage.

You can back the street and see my El Camino with the bunged up tailgate (since fixed) and my wife's attached garage (with the door closed).

You can rotate the view left or right, up and down, travel back and forth, like you are doing a walking tour of the town.

From the link above, you can change locations to anywhere in the USA.
You will at least get an aerial photo of your location. The street level videos are not available in all locations, but if they have them done in little old Sonora, CA, they must be done in a lot of locations.

Probably won't work well with a dial-up, you even have to wait a while with DSL for the photos to clear up.

Wonder if your Corvette is on Google Maps. Fun to find it and post the link.

That must be pretty new because several months ago my house was never that detailed.

I also checked the house my son lives in rural France and it is also there and very detailed.

Last week, there was a story here on the 6:00 PM Tampa news about a woman that suspected her husband was "screwing around" with some other woman for the last year or two. Just for grins, she pulled up the other womans house on Google street view and there was her husbands vehicle parked in the driveway.
They said she printed the pic and went directly to her lawyer.

This is really cool and genuinely spooky. I don't see your trademark Samsonite on the luggage rack. You must not have been heading out or coming back from a trip.

They've not got that level of detail yet on my street in Bloomington, IL. Hope when the do get it I don't get caught.

Checked out my house. Appeared to be photographed Fall 2007. Fortunately had the garage doors closed at the time!
