2 Feet of Snow to Crusin with the Top Down

Less than 1 week ago, I had 2 feet of snow at my house in Colorado Springs and other areas up and down the front range up to Wyoming got even more. We have been in the 70s most of this week and unless you look west to the snow covered Rockies, you can't hardly tell it even snowed here. I will be taking the '66 on the back roads on my 120 mile round trip commute to work and back tomorrow with the top down.

Top down motoring! The only way to fly.

I may have to do the same tomorrow for my 85 mile round trip commute. Thanks for the suggestion.

        Dan,
The important metric is not miles per gallon. It's SMILES per gallon.

I understand your joy! The north east was not friendly with our cars this year either. Weather really turned around this week and I took it to work myslef, big fun! Have fun on your ride!

I drive a Honda Accord as my daily commuter and get 38 mpg with a flowmaster muffler and AEM air intake and filter. I will also drive my Grand Cherokee when the snowy weather dictates, but enjoy taking my '66 Vette convertible on occassion.
