Triple A Enterprise in Indianapolis IN. make a very good repo sticker. Check yellow pages for email & phone # or I can dig it up. I have used them before.

Triple A also advertises in the Driveline. They did mine for use on my car for shows, etc., allows me to keep original in my book (safe). They also helped me clarify my dealer code which was hard to read on the original, and the dealer is long gone and forgotten.

You might also check Steve Lavigne, an NCRS member. I know he does tank stickers, dealer order and shipping order.

I bought a couple of these for my 67.

They're pretty good, but the trailing 6 digits of the VIN aren't quite correct. In other words, the trailing 6 digits are typed in the same as the first part of the VIN. It think original window stickers show a change in font size for the trailing 6 digits (bigger than the prefix of the VIN).

Other than that, I like it.

I know Dobbie personally, but I want to clear with him about posting his contact info. I'm sure he'll want me to, but I want to talk to him first. I'll give him a call tonight. By the way, he did a repro window sticker for me recently and it looks great.

                Thanks

Ah, yes M F Dobbins....was located in Hatboro, PA my old neck of the woods. Nice guy gave me advice on my first Corvette. Claims to be the last surviving original Judge. He must of moved or retired, he's not located off of York rd. anymore or the name has changed over the garage....If its ok with him, I would also like his email address. I appreciate it!

Just spoke to Dobbie. His email address is dobbins3045@verizon.net. Bill, if your talking about his shop, he sold that a long time ago, and the new owner had a fire and had to close down. He still lives in Huntington Valley. I didn't know him until I started looking to purchase my first 'vette last July and I met him through a mutual friend. He went with me to north Jersey to look at the 'vette, gave me some good advice and has been very helpful ever since. He's one of the good guys.

                      Bill,
Dob gave up the shop on Montgomery Ave in Hatboro quite a few years ago. He rented it to a guy who did some Vette work, which is where my '66 was when the shop burnt to the ground (likely the result of a mouse munching on some electrical wires at a junction box). He's still in the decal, label, window sticker business, and has a booth at Carlisle every year. I'm sure he'll be happy to have Ken Hoffman post his contact info. He's been an invaluable asset in helping me put the crispy '66 back together.

Ken - Thanks for getting back so quickly. Yes, 15 years ago, I stopped in his shop to say hi at and bought up all his original C-1 parts that he replaced with repos for his clients. Yes, nice guy! I lived in Warminster at that time so he was close by. So he lives in Huntington Valley, wow, that is where my friend Dick Robinson has his Corvette shop another 'Great' person. What a small world. Nice looking car you have there Ken, I'm running the same set up. 4.11 w/close ratio 4 speed in my 61 fuelie. Don't ask me how I like it because its still in 34 boxes except for the body & frame thats completed. Shes 65% done, so it's all down hill now...
                        ha ha ha!!!
                        Thanks again, Bill

Jeff, I'm sorry to hear that your 'vette was one of those lost in the fire. Dobbie told me the story and it was a real shame to have that happen.

Bill, I grew up in Warminster and still live there. Thanks for the compliment about the LT1. It's pretty much original, but I'm trying to get it back to completely original (replacement alternator, interior, top, etc.). It's been fun so far. So when you get your fuelie done make sure you post some pictures, O.K.

Jeff - I am sooo sorry to hear about your Corvette loss, I'll bet she was a real beauty. Hate to bring up a sore subject but were you able to save it, or was it a total loss?

                              Bill,
Thanks for the sympathies! The car was quite a mess after the Nov '06 fire (I've posted photos in the past). I'm surprised that Hagarty didn't total it, but I had it insured adequately. In retrospect, I'm sure the adjuster wishes he had written it off as a total loss! We've maxed out the claim and he's been back and forth through the ringer several times.
Looking at the cup being half full, however, this presented me with a perfect opportunity to do the body off resto that otherwise wouldn't have made economic sense. Barry Hackert has done a beautiful job of bringing the body back and I'm working with a mechanic friend on the weekends to restore the chassis and mechanicals. I'm hoping to have the Phoenix back on the road with all the bugs worked out for the Del Val Chapter show at Bryner Chevrolet in October. Time will tell.
BTW, I also know Dick Robinson through the Chapter. Heck of a nice guy! I stop by his shop periodically to see what kind of solid axle wonders he's performing. He's a great teacher and works magic with the cars he restores.
                              Regards!
