Doing A Late 69. Left Door Was Rotted Out And Had To Replace It. I Have The Blue Sticker (vin Tag) But I Cant Remove It And Put It On The Replacement Door .who Repros The Blue Vin Sticker For The Drivers Door ? Can Anyone Help?

For posterity you can try to remove the tag veeerrry carefullly using the heat of a hair drier to soften the glue and a razor to remove it. I takes time but I was able to remove mine on my '72 undamaged except for the mylar layer on topand a few very minor brerakthroughs. Unfortunately I can't re-marry the tag to the car without it looking like someone did remove it and glued it onto another door. It would be obvious. Good Luck!!! -

I took a good digital picture, and sent it to him. He replicated it exactly including the fonts, smudges and the degree of crookedness (sp) Looks great. It will still look newer than it should but somethings you cant get around. ...yet
I have thought about using a heat gun to give it that aged look but I'm not that far enough along to do it.
