C-3 T-tops Color Versus Silver/Clear

Am I correct in thinking that all coupes t-tops should be the same color as the car through 1978 and then from 1979-1982 were they all silver/clear or could was that an additional option and all coupes would have come with painted t-tops unless the others were ordered or did you get both if you order the silver/clear. Hi Paul, I still have the 1980 that I purchased new in 1980. It is frost beige with the same color T-tops. I later purchased the (optional) mirror tops from the same dealer. I think the Mirror T's were an option on the window sticker. I hore that helps. Paul Amick

Mirrored tops were an option beginning in '78. In the fall of '77 there was a period when the mirrored tops were unavailable for a time. That is why ours doesn't have them, along with the 255's.
