    1959 2x4 carbs

    my question is are the carburaters specific for 1959 270 hp or are they the same for all 270 hp motors 58 thru 61 I have heard they are all the same and I have heard the 59 carbs are year specific can someone answer this for me thanks

    That info should be in your '58-'60 JG. I don't have that one, but the Gary Hodges chart shows that '58-'60 270's use the 2613S front, and '58-'61 270's use the 2614S rear. Both use 0-049 or 0-1049 main bodies, 6-1299 air horns, and 1-1387B throttle bodies.
