    67 Cluster Odometer Clip Question

I am just concluding a refresh of my cluster and although I thought I had photographed every possible component at dis assembly I find myself left with one component which I can't remember where it installs exactly.

I believe it installs on the Trip Odometer. It is a very small "l" shaped clip with centre slot. It is approx 1/4" in length.

Does anyone by chance have a picture showing correct placement for this piece ? Appreciate any and all comments.

Howard -- this might help; exploded view of type "W" speedo heads, which includes 1967 Corvette, from a 1967 AC Delco service manual. Looks like you're describing the two retainer clips that hold the drum with the figures.

Quality of these pics may not be the best. I have a CD of the AC Delco service manual for all GM, but for some reason, was unable to print this [.pdf] page; so I took a pic directly off the monitor .
