Help needed on 65 350 hp tach redline / oil press gauge

I have a mid Jan build 65 350 HP convertible here, do not have the latest JM.
What should I expect the tach redline and oil pressure gauge to be. I cannot find a time reference to "early" and "late" versions. Can anyone help me with current JM reference?
    Thanks!

Bill, here's a pic of the instr. cluster of my first car '65 L79 VIN 04835 (Dec 17, per calculator). B & W photo taken in spring of 1968.

Redline starts at 6000 and note the 80 lb oil gauge. So "early" as defined in the '65 TIM&JG must have been before that.

      Hi Bill,
A good friend owns this car.

1965 Corvette convertible, early vin # 2547 built (D17) Tuesday Nov 17,64. It has the 300hp early tack and lower oil pressurs gauge. I might add that the engine assembly date is F0824HT and the door panel is stamped Sept 22, 64, so this car was well on its way of being built when the labor strike hit September 30. No cars were made between 9-30 and 11-3. My best guess is the mid range tach change was corrected during this time. And this car is a pefect example.

It's always been my understanding that very early '65 L-79s had the "big" pan, which precluded the installation of the steering damper or power steering.

Then a running change was made to install the standard pan, which allowed power steering to be added as an option with L-79.

So what pans are installed on these two early L-79s?

        Duke

Sorry, Duke -- Back in spring of 1968 I was 24 years old and wet behind the ears as far as automobiles went. '65 # 04835 was stolen 6 months after I acquired it. Other than one pic of the engine compartment, I know nothing about the oil pan or damper; it did not have PS, though.

Checked today. This car has the small correct pan.
