Since I could not find an answer to my fan question in the archives, I thought I might get some input from you guys.
During a recent chapter judging, the judges pointed out that my engine driven fan is incorrect. The fan that is now installed (came with the car) has the correct seven blades for an A/C car, but the ends of the blades are "cut off" at an angle. The judges told me that the correct fan blade shape is rounded at the ends.
So, for the everlasting quest for improvement in originality, where can I find a like-new original or an "acceptable" repro fan? -Clark

Pete
The 65 TIM&JG lists the fan for C60 Corvettes to be the 7-blade, 18" dia. fan blade assembly, p/n 3853934 and Wayne has pointed you to the DB thread with the info and pictures and noted Noland Adam's book for additional info (page 218). So if the fan blade assembly on your C60 '65 looks like that you're "good to go" and I'd bring some pictures to the next Judging event of there are any questions.
) only the letter "H" is present; no "FRONT" or last 2 digits of part # (like "66" for the BB fans 1966+), and no "W" stamped on the back of any of the 7 spiders.
