1969 Rear Bumper Bolts

During my last judging I lost points for non-original bolts for the rear bumper. Will the bolts available through Paragon pass judging?

Does anyone have a picture or description of what I should be looking for?

Erv,

for the 4 visable rear bumper bolts for 69's there could be several different headmarkings. Most common would be A there was also RBW, M, TR and several others. They all were grade 5. The last paragon bolts I got were 15 years ago and they had the A headmarking. If compared side by side the A was different but I don't know if judges have picked up on that or deduct for it. I do have pictures of originals when I find them I'll post them.

Contact Caledonia Classic Cars in Belding, MI 888-245-5224. They have "A" headmark bolts in either cadmium or black for bumpers. They sell them by the prepackaged set or individually.

Hi Erv,
Caledonia has some nice serrated washers for bumper bracket bolts too, if you're interested.
