if that was a 435hp car when new the tach is wrong....isn't a 435hp car redline at 6500?

I love that car as far as looks..I'd love to have a 67 vert bb sidepipe car in that color combo it's my favorite!

Yes, the tachometer currently in the car would be correct for a 350 HP 327 or 390 HP 427.

Too bad we can't see the oil pressure guage in his picture.

I believe the hood support should be on the driver's side for a big block car. Small block cars hood supports were on the passenger side. There were exceptions, but I do not think any exceptions would apply to this car.

Hood support and Tach are not 435/427 original items. Aftermarket radiator, hoses, ignition, etc. He declares its NOT an original motor so the rest are mute points. Just don't let the price get out of hand, purchase it as a nice looking non-original driver, and have fun!!!

Wrong tack, hood suport not on left side and did you notice the kick panel missing on left side?

I wasn't intrested in buying but was curious why he is saying it was a 435hp car when everything I saw pointed in the other direction...maybe he bought it with the seller telling hi that?

or he could be trying to stick it to someone..

hey just curious..does the hood support on c3's also determine if the car is a bb or not? or is that just on c2's?

I asked the seller about the wrong tach and hood support this was his answer..

"It was a 435 hp car because I took out the original dash cluster and the tach was a 6500 redline (dated feb 28, 1967). The hood support was moved to the passenger side to accomadate the fan thermostat relay which was attatched to the inside top fender well.
              "

my question is why would you change out the gauge cluster like that?
