Supposed L88 prototype headers
I have been contacted via Email by a person unknown to me with the following query:

I have a pair of big block headers that are supposed to be L-88 prototype headers. They were on a 1966 BB tanker that according to my dad was an L-88 prototype car. I can't find much info on them and want to find out the real story. They look similar to the attached pic but are black. I do not have the 4" side tubes as they were unfortunately damaged. Any info you can provide would be appreciated - or if you have a contact that would know about them. If you need any more pics I can take some and sent them to you. I have queried the sender about the build of the headers (type of bends, tube diameter, markings, etc) plus some other pertinent questions and await a reply.
Has anyone seen headers with this config? GM? Aftermarket? Any known connection to the L88?
