I've been looking for a mid-year coupe. I found an interesting car for sale but have a concern before I travel to look at it.
The owner sent me pictures, and the hood support is mounted on the Passenger's side. The car is an A.O. Smith body with a D09 (Nov. 9, 1965) build date. It is a 327/350 4 spd. with factory AC car (no documentation.)
From doing a search on this board and reading the judging manual, I am assuming that the front section and hood on this car have been replaced, since the hood support was apparently mounted on the LH side on small block cars with AC. Am I correct?
I'm only looking at some photos that I was sent, so I do not have any more details about the radiator support or evidence of previous damage to describe.
Thanks,
Brant
