    Joe Lucia re Torque Converter

    Joe,
Thanks for the part numbers you gave me for my 71 BB for a converter. I have a GM parts book but must have been up too late the night I was looking for it and didn't find them in there. I googled the first part number and found one in New Jersey, which was the correct one for my configuration. Thanks again for all your help.

Joe is a pretty amazing guy. He helped me too with several part number / configuration problems...

I'm glad it worked out for you. It reminds me of the time years ago when I found two NOS GM #3834108 torque converters. These were used for 1966 Corvette with L-36 and Powerglide as well as some 65-66 big block passenger car applications. I bought them and I've never figured out why. In fact, I recall that just having them shipped to me cost quite a bit of money. At least, you were able to find a torque converter that you could actually use!

        Joe,
I want to come to your house and do some shopping, uh I mean, see your parts collection.
