My 69 Corvette 350/350, recently purchased, came with headers and what appears to be a home made bracket for the alternator. I would like to put the stock type manifolds back on the car however I'm really confused by the choices. One of the major suppliers has a manifold for the right side but it appears as though the left side is listed as a 70 to 72 model. I also noticed on some othe sights that the forward end on this sides manifold has either a squared off casting or some have a pointed looking end piece, both I'm assuming for an alternator bracket of some sort. Since I don't have the proper bracket for the alternator and haven't found any pictures of this setup, I'm pretty much at a loss as to what I should be buying. Any help or pic's would be appreciated.

The left (driver) side manifold should be a GM casting #3872765. All versions of this manifold have AIR fittings which are required for all 1969 Corvettes.
The right (passenger) side manifold should be a GM casting #3932481 with AIR fittings (not all 3932481 ever made had AIR fittings but all those used for 1969 Corvettes did).
The alternator bracket you need is available in reproduction. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

I can sell you the correct NOS bracket (GM #3846565) and a very good original alternator brace (GM # 3884640) for less than the reproductions. The "repro brace" is nothing more than a 63-64 Chevrolet 409 brace (GM # 3826928) which you must modify to make it work. It doesn't even look the the original brace. Let me know if you need some help. I have dozens of original Chev. & Corvette alternator/generator braces and dozens of original brackets in my 30 year collection of parts. You can have my 409 Chev. brace (GM #3826928) for free if you want, just pay for shipping, but I don't think you really want it.
