Just thought I would post the solution to finding a brake fluid leak that has dogged me for almost two years. New master cylinder, SS brakes lines, junction blocks and rebuilt calipers.
The brakes would function fine but I kept needing to top up the brake fluid level in MC. I had gone over the car again and again but could not locate the leak. A friend of mine made the suggestion to wedge a piece of wood between the brake pedal and the seat to keep pressure in the system.
I placed fresh newspaper under the different connection points in the brake system. I checked back in two hours and no evidence of a leak, after about 3-4 hours I checked back again and saw a medium sized drip stain on the newspaper. The fittting was tight at the junction block but I tightened it even more. Placed more fresh newspaper under the same spot and no leaks after being pressurized for over eight hours overnight.
Maybe others knew about the trick to wedge the brake pedal to find the leak, but I didn't, and so I thought I would share it with everyone here.
