The switch, GM #7811093 was discontinued by GM a long time ago. However, "somewhere" within the last years, or so, I heard that a reproduction was now available. I just don't recall where I heard it or who has it. I think I'd check with Corvette Steering (www.corvettesteering.com). I would think they would either be able to supply it or, at least, know where to get them.
Also, I think that Dr. Rebuild may still have some NOS switches available.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

I Went Into The Column This Weekend To Look What The Problem Is And Found The Switch Broken , Now Its Getting Closer To Cruisen Weather And The Cars Apart Im In A Panic.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Hi Ed I Have My 72 Vette (built In Oct 1971) Tilt @tele. Column Apart To.i Am Trying To Get My Key Buzzer To Work To.by The Books I See The Key Switch Buzzer Under The Dash Pad By The Tack.you Are Saying There Is Another Switch In The Column And Where Is It Located At.thanks Bill- Top

That's exactly how they should look. I took the picture before I destroyed the switch while trying to remove it.
The majority of the switch is not shown in the picture and is in a plastic housing that fits into a slot in the column.- Top
