How about the 56-57 2x4 air cleaners? Who, what, where are the best source(s) for those?
Many years ago (maybe 25-30) someone offered what appeared to be very nice repos for the 56-7 2x4 carbs.

I think the only 56-57 air cleaners now being manufactured are by Neil Porter at Vette Products of Michigan. I am looking at a new set which I have and they look very nice, buy I'm not sure "nice" is correct.
I waited a long time to get them but I sold the 2 X 4 setup, oh well.

The repro I bought from Paragon 2 months ago was chromed steel. I sent it back when I found a restorable original 2 X 4 air cleaner. When I get it back from the guy restoring it I'll have some judges take a look at it and post pictures.

David Cranes Corvette supply is on the web at www.cranescovette.com (Ph.800-597-4132) However: I cannot image him tooling any air cleaners ! Having some original ones maybe....

I have heard he has the best repro for 58-62 FI air cleaners.
