69 radiator core support color

Can anyone tell me the correct finish for the core support? Dip painted, engin blackout, gloss??? I know thebottom edge should have some body paint, but any other tricks you guys can share. Don't want to take this thing out again if possible. Thanks, Lynn Schwebach

They were painted a very low gloss black, almost flat black but not quite. I don't know if they were dip or otherwise painted. It doesn't matter too much since even if they were dip painted you're probably not going to be able to use that process in restoration unless you have a very large tank and an awful lot of paint.
