Joe, my January built 68 car carbs:

    List 4055 3925517 EW 7A4 Center

    List 3659 3902353 EU 7A1

    List 3659 3902353 EU 7A1

    1967 ""A" = November

The intake is 68, date code on underside.

Joe, the "extra" 3660, is a 1967 Carburetor. Check your date on it, to confirm.
The 3919850 intake, is the "early" 1968 L68 400hp intake. It should be oval port. The intake number changed somewhere thru production in 1968. This is definitely, the early version.
I keep a few spare Holleys around myself. Ridge.

Good carburetion is fuelish hot air . . .

I checked the bottom of the intake and it shows a date of 12-13-67

will take a second look at the 3660 carb

          Joe,
My 68 400hp tripower is vin 00320, probobly 1st or 2nd production day of the 68 model year. Didn't come with the original oval port intake, I'm actually running a 435 hp rectangular intake on it. Are you buy chance considering selling your set up.

            Hi Joe,
As Ridge pointed out, the 3660 is a '67 carb and being stamped 2nd week of February would be too early for a '68.
"Used to own" is the pivotal word. I bet you wish you had them back.

Bill Lacy and I drove from St.Louis down to Lake of the Ozarks to pick up the 68 years ago.

It was one of many Corvettes that graced Albert drive where we were neighbors.

              We are still kicking!

See Bills post today with his current magnificent Corvettes.

The cars will come and go..but the people you meet along the journey are what its all about. Today I visited a friend who doesn't have much time left. He is a real old skilled craftsmen. The kind that can solve any problem and build any thing. He is selling his shop and moving to the Texas Coast. Says he wants to go while deep sea fishing.

Enjoy the cars.... treasure the people.

              Joe
